The Faculty of Health, Nature and Engineering Sciences is now announcing a position as a project assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

The position is temporary for 6 months with a scope of 50%. Start date is January 26, 2026, or by agreement.

You will be part of the research group PriSec (Privacy and Security) which focuses on techniques to improve personal privacy and on network security, as well as security and privacy with a focus on usability.

The position is funded by the research project TRUstworthy huMAN-centric artificial intelligence (TRUMAN) through the EU program Horizon Europe.

Responsibilities

As a project assistant, you will help develop and evaluate user-friendly interfaces for specific use cases. We are looking for an experienced designer with practical experience in developing digital experiences and High-Fidelity design.

The responsibilities include:

• designing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces in line with the project’s descriptions of use cases
• creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
• developing user profiles and user stories to support decision-making in the design process
• evaluating and implementing high-fidelity interfaces for the use cases
• assisting in user studies related to the use cases
• assisting in the planning, organizing, and conducting of user studies, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys

Qualifications

For employment, you should have a bachelor's degree in informatics or computer science, as well as documented experience in UX design (User Experience Design).

Previous experience in research projects is an advantage.

Personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to communicate with project partners are highly valued.

Strong proficiency in English is essential.

Good knowledge of Swedish and experience from international employment, projects, and national or international networks are advantageous.

Conditions

Temporary employment with a scope of 50%. Start date no earlier than January 26, 2026, or by agreement. Possible extension.
