We are now looking for a support assistant at Nytida Kvillebäcken who can work 95%, with shifts during the day, evening, every third weekend, and on-call overnight. We offer training and several benefits.

Your mission

In the role of support assistant, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Kvillebäcken

Nytida Kvillebäcken's service housing is aimed at adult women and men with neuropsychiatric or intellectual disabilities with psychiatric comorbidity and psychiatric diagnoses.

Kvillebäcken's service housing is located in a newly built apartment building in the Kvillebäcken district of Hisingen in Gothenburg. The residence has 10 apartments, a shared apartment, and a staff apartment.

Kvillebäcken's service housing is situated close to healthcare, shops, restaurants, and other community services, with the nearest tram and bus stop, Vågmästareplatsen, about a 5-minute walk from the residence.

Your experience and knowledge 

We assume that you who are applying to us: • have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people • are responsible and have personal maturity • enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues 

You have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
