The Health and Care Administration, with approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.

The area of social psychiatry is part of the support services area. This area consists of housing with special services, housing support, dual diagnosis teams, labor market initiatives within daily activities, and short-term placements in social psychiatry. We are a creative workplace with several rewarding development journeys underway, where we aim high and far to create the best possible conditions for our users to live as independently as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and developing the operations together with your employees. As a manager, you will have responsibilities for personnel, budget, and work environment.

As a manager in this area, you are expected to take significant personal responsibility and actively contribute to the development of both your own units and the entire operational area. We are looking for someone who collaborates easily and is driven to develop operations and provide employees with the conditions to grow. We assume that you have a good understanding and ability to take a holistic perspective on the often complex issues and processes related to our interventions. We place great value on a positive and solution-focused attitude. We welcome new ideas and solutions and hope that you want to develop as a manager together with us in the support services area in Mölndal and the social psychiatry area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree focused on leadership within public administration or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Previous experience as a manager and leadership experience within psychiatry, which can be either in support services or psychiatric care.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience and education in social psychiatry.

We prefer that you work effectively under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You establish clear goals and plan activities and projects in good time. Furthermore, you have the ability to communicate the common goals and lead the group towards achieving them. By distributing work, delegating tasks, and setting concrete sub-goals, you ensure that others' competencies are utilized. You motivate others and provide advice, support, and opportunities for development.
