Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant is largely about being able to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible – and who is also pedagogical, patient, and able to handle tough mental situations.

Our client appreciates training, especially rehabilitation, to strengthen their body and increase their independence.

You will be present in daily life and provide support in various moments and activities throughout the day.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 40s living in Hindås

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• is smoke-free

• has good physical condition and can perform transfers

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have a B driver's license

• are used to working in stressful situations that require mental strength

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The employment form is “as long as the assistance assignment lasts”, and we are looking for several personal assistants for part-time work during the day, evening, or night with 9 hours of on-call duty per night. Work shifts occur both weekdays and weekends.

Working hours:

Monday–Friday: 15:30–07:30 (including 9 hours of on-call duty)

Saturday–Sunday: 07:30–15:30 and 15:30–07:30 (including 9 hours of on-call duty)

Position 1. 13 h/week - 32.5%
Position 2. 14 h/week - 35%
Position 3. 11 h/week - 27.5%
Position 4. 16 h/week - 40%

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
