Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. Being punctual, having a good attitude, and being able to collaborate well are also important.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a male client in his 59s living with his wife just outside Uddevalla

• our client prefers a female assistant

• has good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written

• has a car and a driving license to get to the workplace

• can accompany on short trips

• has experience with lifting techniques

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work and understand what personal assistance entails

• have experience in personal care

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50%. The job involves daytime work.

2-week schedule: W1: Monday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM. W2: Wednesday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.
