Your mission

In the role of support assistant, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Nytida Kvillebäcken

Nytida Kvillebäcken's service housing is aimed at adult women and men with neuropsychiatric or intellectual disabilities with psychiatric comorbidity and psychiatric diagnoses.

Kvillebäcken's service housing is located in a newly built multi-family house in the Kvillebäcken district on Hisingen in Gothenburg. The accommodation has 10 apartments, a shared apartment, and a staff apartment.

Kvillebäcken's service housing is located close to health care, shops, restaurants, and other community services, with the nearest tram and bus stop being Vågmästareplatsen about a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.

Your experience and knowledge

We assume that you who are applying to us: • have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people • are responsible and have personal maturity • enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

You have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
