We are currently looking for you who want to become a personal assistant for a child living with their family in Skövde.

What does this position entail?

As a personal assistant, you will support a lively and cheerful child where a disability sets limits in everyday life. Your tasks may include:

• Support during meals and personal hygiene

• Motivational and activating work

• Communication using signs and pictures

The child has autism and communicates without speech. Sometimes situations may arise where the child becomes aggressive, and it is important that you feel secure in handling this calmly and professionally. Experience with low-arousal approaches is desirable.

The position is part-time with varied working hours (day, evening, and weekend). We are also looking for substitutes who can step in as needed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Have experience working with clients who have autism

• Have knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches

• (Meritorious) Have a B driver's license

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
