Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 67-year-old man residing in Lindholmen

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• can work in an environment where smoking occurs

• can work in an environment where dogs are present

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in personal assistance or in healthcare

• share the client's interests such as cars, books, and various activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 25%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays. The working hours are flexible, usually around 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM, two to three days a week.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.
