In your role as a social worker, you will support and guide clients towards self-sufficiency and assess their entitlement to financial assistance.

By working closely with clients in each phase of their development, you ensure they receive the tools they need to succeed. You meet each client based on their individual situation and the phase they are in. This may involve collaboration with various partners within the social office, actors engaged in work-oriented rehabilitation, and not least, health care. Through our automated system Görel, you will also receive support in managing the processing of financial assistance efficiently and securely.

Rehab 1 is one of four units within financial assistance in the administration. We primarily work with individuals with mental and physical health issues. The unit consists of 11 social workers, one social administrator, one senior social worker, two FUT (incorrect payments) caseworkers, and one unit manager. When you start with us, you will be part of a workgroup with helpful, experienced, and competent colleagues. To make the most of each other's experiences and receive support in your daily work, you will be offered method supervision from your senior social worker as well as external process supervision.

At the Social Administration Sydväst, all authority exercises for adults are located in the same building, which benefits internal collaboration within the department. Our premises are just a stone's throw from Frölunda Torg with good transport links and access to lunch restaurants. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as the work involves authority exercises, documentation, and regular communication with clients and other professionals. Previous experience in authority exercises and/or working with financial assistance is an advantage.

In the role of social worker, you will meet people in vulnerable life situations, which requires a professional and respectful approach. You are confident in your work role, structured in your work, and have the ability to make independent and well-founded assessments.

You have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a respectful and positive work climate. With a holistic view and understanding of the common mission, you collaborate with colleagues and other actors to create the best possible support for the client. You are a person who shows respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You base your actions on the equal value of all and create a good atmosphere in meetings. You have an open and positive attitude as you prioritize the client's needs in your actions.

You have the ability to overview your own area of responsibility and place the significance of your own operations in a larger context. You show interest in and collaborate on overarching issues to create added value. You take into account different sources of information and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operations.
