Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with a 17-year-old man living in Trollhättan

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has experience with autism and/or challenging behavior

• is tolerant of pets, as there is a dog in the home

• is calm and secure as a person

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience with low-arousal approaches

• have experience with alternative communication

• are a good swimmer and can accompany to the swimming pool

• share the customer's interests such as gaming, music, walks, and activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a temporary position starting immediately until 2026-03-16. The position is approximately 75% with the possibility of a smaller schedule and hourly work afterwards. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 15:30 to 22:00 and weekends from 09:00 to 16:00 or 16:00 to 22:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
