In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and further developing the business unit's sustainability strategy in line with the company's environmental management system. You will work both operationally and strategically with quality, monitoring, and continuous improvements related to our harvesting and planning processes. You will be part of our specialist team Harvesting Support, where you have a wide network and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Coordinating and managing quality and sustainability work in line with the environmental management system
  • Identifying, analyzing, and following up on deviations and supporting the business in follow-ups and root cause analyses
  • Ensuring qualitative implementation of instructions, routines, and working methods within harvesting and planning processes
  • Leading and developing improvement work and being responsible for related KPIs
  • Planning and conducting training within relevant processes
  • Investigating and following up on environmental incidents in the reporting system IA
  • Participating in internal and external audits

We offer an exciting and varied job with great personal responsibility where you can contribute to development and improvement within our forestry operations. Your office location will be at one of our offices within the operational area, and you will report to the Harvesting Support Manager.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for someone whose experience and commitment strengthen and develop the work within one or more of our focus areas; biodiversity, carbon dioxide, land use, and communities and social responsibility. You are motivated by communicating, sharing knowledge, and driving business development.

Skills and qualifications that we believe you have:

  • Academic education in forestry, environment, or quality, or equivalent extensive work experience
  • Good knowledge and strong interest in natural and cultural environments
  • Good understanding of timber flows and forestry operations
  • Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner
  • A pedagogical and communicative strength, preferably with experience in conducting training
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Driving license B
