Your Workplace

As an HR consultant within the HR Operations Support Unit, you will be part of Region Värmland's HR organization. The unit consists of about 25 employees, and in total, we are around 90 people who together make up the region's HR function. We work closely with our managers and in close collaboration with other HR units to create a professional and strategic HR support. We are a dedicated team with good cohesion. We share knowledge, support each other, and create a work environment with good collaboration and high quality.

Your Mission

In the role of HR consultant, you are an important support to managers in their daily work and have a consultative role where you provide advice on labor law, rehabilitation, work environment, and competence supply. You support managers in recruitment, salary processes, and employee issues and contribute to the development of routines and processes within HR. You are active in change and development work and work both operationally and with strategic elements. The work is varied and involves close collaboration with managers and HR colleagues throughout the organization.

The position is a temporary contract with a possibility of extension.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in HR and experience working with HR issues, preferably in a complex organization. You are confident in labor law and have a good understanding of HR processes. To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to build good relationships, be solution-oriented, and enjoy working closely with managers in a consultative role. You are communicative, structured, and have a genuine interest in contributing to the development of the organization. Experience from regional or municipal operations is an advantage. For us, it is important to find the right person for the assignment, which is why we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
