HR Consultant in Competence Supply

Do you want to work with competence supply in a role that combines strategic and operational HR work? As an HR consultant at Region Värmland, you will have a varied and developing position where you work closely with managers and contribute to the development of recruitment processes and strengthen Region Värmland's employer brand.

Your Workplace

As an HR consultant within the Competence Supply Unit, you will be part of Region Värmland's HR organization. The unit has about 20 employees, and in total, we are around 90 people who together make up the region's HR function. At the Competence Supply Unit, HR consultants, HR strategists, and HR administrators work together to develop and support the organization's long-term competence supply. The group's mission is broad and varied, encompassing both strategic development work and operational support in recruitment processes, in close collaboration with the operations.

Your Tasks

As an HR consultant, you contribute to developing and ensuring the quality of Region Värmland's recruitment process and competence supply work. In this role, you will work closely with the managers of the operations and provide consultative support throughout the recruitment process.

You will have an active role in the region's work with international recruitment, which means you coordinate and drive processes to find and introduce international competence to Region Värmland. An important part of the assignment is to work strategically with the employer brand by participating in defining how and where we should be visible and operationally by participating in activities that strengthen the region's position as an attractive employer, such as fairs and other marketing efforts.

You will also have a central role in volume recruitments such as summer recruitment, as well as developing and coordinating efforts for internships, practical training, and broadened recruitment.

The work is varied, and you often handle several parallel processes, both independently and together with colleagues. You will have the opportunity to influence and develop the operations and the processes that the unit manages.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for someone with an academic education in HR and at least three years of work experience. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English and feel comfortable in a consultative role.

It is advantageous if you have experience in HR work and the various parts of the recruitment process. Experience in competency-based recruitment, international recruitment, employer branding, or personality tests is also considered a plus.

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and enjoy collaborating to achieve good results. You are relationship-building and collaborative, easily establishing contacts both internally and externally. You take initiative, are flexible, and quickly adapt to changing circumstances. The role requires good administrative skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You work in a structured manner, are meticulous and solution-oriented, and are motivated by developing and streamlining processes.
