At Torsby Ski Tunnel & Sport Center, we meet guests from all over the world every day. The facility welcomes everyone from elite athletes and clubs to recreational users, families, and visitors looking to train, develop their skills, seek a unique experience, or enjoy a pleasant stay.

The ski tunnel is operated by Torsby Municipality, and the operations are carried out in close collaboration with several external partners to provide guests with a complete experience. Torsby Ski Tunnel & Sport Center is a Vasaloppet center for skiing, cycling, and running, as well as an Official Resort for the Swedish cross-country skiing team, which places high demands on quality, service, and professionalism in daily operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for reception and service staff for Torsby Ski Tunnel & Sport Center. In this role, you are often the guest's first contact with the facility and an important ambassador for the operations. You play a central role in creating a positive overall experience for our guests while contributing to developing and strengthening the facility's service and quality.

The work is very varied and places high demands on engagement, responsibility, and flexibility. We are looking for someone with strong drive, high work ethic, and a desire to help take Torsby Ski Tunnel & Sport Center to the next level. You see what needs to be done, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same as another.

In this role, you are expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, be outgoing and service-oriented, and be ready to step in where needed, even when the work is physically demanding at times.

The tasks may vary depending on the season and the needs of the operations, but mainly consist of:

• Daily work at the reception, including answering questions, receiving bookings, and handling sales via phone, digital channels, and over the counter
• Cash management and administrative routines
• Inventory management
• Work with social media and digital communication
• Service and maintenance work in the ski tunnel, shooting ranges, and ice rink
• Active work with hospitality and guest reception to ensure high service and quality

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong drive, high work ethic, and takes responsibility for their work
• Thrives in a varied job in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks at once
• Is outgoing, positive, and confident in meeting guests and colleagues
• Is service-oriented and always puts the guest first
• Has good computer skills and experience with cash handling
• Has good language skills in Swedish and preferably additional languages
• Is flexible, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented
• Has the ability and willingness to understand different people's needs
• Has a genuine interest in training, sports, and the tourism industry
• Is willing to work physically when required by the operations
• Is prepared to work extra if needed

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

The position is a temporary contract due to a colleague's studies and is limited until 2027-02-28. There is a possibility of extension.
