Description

We are looking for a communicator for a project employment at the communications department.

The assignment is to support the election office with communication before and during the elections to the parliament, region, and municipality in the autumn of 2026, as well as to contribute to the communications department's other work. The employment is full-time or part-time for approximately 8 months, starting as early as February 2026 until September 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

You will be an important part in making information about the election clear and accessible to our residents. The work involves planning and producing content for various channels, with a focus on signage materials at times. During the summer, we have other events where you can contribute to the communication work, including on social media. You will create texts, images, and short films, as well as contribute to graphic design. The role requires flexibility – you need to be able to step in where needed and handle rapid changes. You also need to have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a team.

Qualifications

You need to have a post-secondary education in communication and media. It is important that you are skilled in expressing yourself verbally and in writing, and that you have a B driver's license. You have basic knowledge of graphic design and can handle Adobe Suite software. For the part of the work that involves supporting the communications department's work, it is beneficial if you have experience in content production for social media, including photography and basic video editing. You also need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working at a fast pace at times.

It is an advantage if you have experience in communication work in public operations.
