About the organization
The Social Services Administration consists of approximately 2,200 employees who care for the municipality's elderly and people with some form of disability.

Our work makes a difference for people every day. Together, we shape care and support in Trollhättan.

The Personnel Supply and Staffing Unit is an important support function for the entire Social Services Administration. Here, we work with schedule planning, staffing during short-term absences, recruitment, and planning of home care – always with a focus on quality and collaboration.

We offer a work climate characterized by trust, freedom under responsibility, and a wonderful team spirit. Here, we share knowledge, support each other, and have close cooperation with the managers of the Social Services Administration. You will be part of an engaged team that is passionate about its mission and creating good solutions together.

In Trollhättan City, we invest in our employees. We care about your work environment and offer wellness grants, wellness hours, and flexible working hours.

As a planner, you play a key role in making everyday life work within home care – both for our employees and for those we serve. We hope that you want to be part of our team!

Job Responsibilities

The role of Planner means that you have overall administrative responsibility for service planning, primarily within home care. This involves implementing decisions made by the Assistance Unit according to the Social Services Act and planning for delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act to be carried out. Our work is guided by user needs, continuity, budget, and health. The goal is to plan and optimize the most efficient and qualitative planning possible. The work is done in our digital planning tool Kompanion and in Medvind.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with the unit managers and team leaders of the operations. You act as a support where you lead the dialogue about service planning and come up with development and improvement proposals. You will also be an important part of quality assurance, developing new working methods, and increasing our digitization efforts in the Personnel Supply and Staffing Unit.

The working hours are scheduled during daytime, weekdays (including public holidays, 37-hour week).

Qualifications

Applicants should have at least a high school education. You should have previously worked with home care planning, and if you also have training in the planning tool Kompanion, this is an advantage. Since the work consists of interpreting social documentation and involves many contact points, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. You also have good computer skills and are comfortable switching between several programs during your workday.

To succeed in the role, you should have a methodical and solution-focused approach with the ability to remain calm. You have an eye for detail while being able to plan with a holistic perspective. You appreciate having your own responsibility in structuring your work to achieve the goals set for the day. Since the role involves many contact points, we see it as important that you enjoy collaboration and creating and maintaining good relationships.

We also see that you are curious by nature and have your sights set on developing both yourself, the role, and our unit as a whole. Here, it will be appreciated that you have a great sense of humor and contribute to a good atmosphere in the team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
