The physiotherapy department is an independent clinic with approximately 45 employees at Örebro University Hospital; physiotherapists, nursing assistants, and administrators. We are responsible for physiotherapy and training efforts in 14 of the hospital's clinics. In addition to physiotherapy/training on wards, we have extensive outpatient services and conduct training in gyms both individually and in groups. We have a strong sense of community where we help each other and learn from one another.

The role of physiotherapist involves working on a ward where you are part of the team around the patient with tasks such as specific rehabilitation, assessment of assistive devices, mobilization, and respiratory care.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the three acute hospitals in the county where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from the newspaper Dagens Medicin. Job Responsibilities

The placement is primarily within orthopedics with work on the ward. Treatment and training of patients on the ward and in the gym.

Qualifications

Licensed physiotherapist or physiotherapy student who has completed semester 4 or 5 by summer. You are structured and have good collaboration skills.
