The Child and Adolescent Habilitation (BUH) is tasked with providing support and interventions based on needs to children and adolescents with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, visual and hearing impairments, and their families. In the Neuropsychiatric team, you will collaborate with psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, team secretaries, and unit managers. Pediatric neurologists and pediatricians are also colleagues at BUH. Together, we are about 90 employees within the regional operations.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities will include standard medical work involving diagnostics, treatment, and collaboration with healthcare neighbors. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to and participate in our common development and show interest in teaching. Good communication and collaboration skills are required. Qualifications

Licensed physician and specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry. We are now looking for you as a consultant for the Neuropsychiatric team as well as other geographical teams within Child and Adolescent Habilitation. Furthermore, we seek someone who is a good clinician with an interest in children and adolescents.

A Swedish medical license is required for the position. We expect you to be genuinely interested in the field of neuropsychiatry as well as having a stated interest in development work. We would like you to have experience from various fields such as medicine, psychiatry, and general medicine. You have a positive and professional approach to your work, where the patient is the focus and you are confident in your professional role.

Previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is an advantage, as well as research, teaching, and training. Documented good collaboration skills and a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues. Good ability to handle IT support for documentation and administration. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, especially the ability to collaborate, good communication, and willingness to develop.
