The department has 18 care places and on weekdays we work in three care teams during the day and evening. Our goal with the recruitment is to be able to open another care team to offer more care places. You will be part of our nursing group, which is strong due to the wide range of knowledge from a mix of experienced nurses and newly graduated ones.

Lindesberg Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Örebro County. Here you will find all the advantages of a smaller hospital - a friendly and familiar atmosphere combined with efficiency and great expertise. The hospital has both clinics and outpatient care that are part of the Area of Close Care, as well as clinics that are county-wide, meaning services that exist in all three hospitals in the county. The hospital activities in the northern area include the medical clinic, the emergency department, and specialist outpatient clinics.

Job Responsibilities

In our medical department, you will meet patients with many different medical conditions, which gives you a broad knowledge base. On weekdays, we have support functions in the form of discharge coordinators and receptionists to allow you to focus on the patients. We also have a mentoring nurse who is responsible for the introduction of new nurses and assists colleagues in their daily work.

Professional Development:

At Lindesberg Hospital, we have a Clinical Training Center (KTC) that offers various training programs. Once you have settled into your work in the department, there is an opportunity to take on specific responsibilities that will help you continue to develop in your professional role. Region Örebro County offers an introductory training program for newly graduated nurses.

About the Position:

We currently have a need for a nurse who works permanent weekends with the following options:

- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings

- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday days

The introduction is also planned during weekdays to give you a good insight into the department's routines. Permanent weekends are granted for one schedule period at a time.
