Stockholm City, Farsta district administration, Individual and Family, Children and Youth

The department for individual and family care works with various forms of support and services for residents. The department is divided into four areas: Promotion and Prevention, Children and Youth, Adults, and Providers within social psychiatry and disabilities.

Within the Children and Youth area, there are 4 units - reception, children, youth, and family care.

The youth unit consists of two youth teams with a total of 16 social workers, two school coordinators, two SIG coordinators, two team leaders, and one unit manager.

Your role

We are now looking for two social workers, one temporary position and one permanent position. We want you to have good analytical and empathetic skills and be interested in working with youth aged 13-20 and their families.

Your tasks include assessing support needs, deciding on interventions, and following up on open care interventions and placements according to SoL and LVU.

Your qualifications and experience

You who are applying have:

  • A degree in social work and preferably previous experience in authority work with children and youth
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
  • Previous experience of working within BBIC is an advantage
  • Advantageous if you have skills in SAVRY and ADAD
  • Advantageous if you are familiar with Signs of Safety.
  • Advantageous with knowledge of RBM-Risk assessment and receptiveness.

We want you to be independent, meticulous, and have a good ability to structure and plan your tasks.

To work with Stockholm City with children, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities, including work in their homes, you must provide a criminal record extract. The extract must not be older than six months from the date of issue.
