We are now looking for a support assistant with a leadership role for one of our newly established group homes in Skäggetorp, Linköping.

A requirement is that you have a care education or other equivalent education as well as experience with the target group. As a team leader, you will work approximately 80% in the field and about 20% administratively. You should be able to work during the day, evenings, on-call at night, and weekends.

We are looking for someone who:

* is self-driven and has the ability to take their own initiatives and decisions

* has personal motivation to support individuals in their development and a desire to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time for our residents

* takes responsibility for achieving agreed goals for the organization and the residents

* has a good ability to work independently as well as to collaborate in a team

* has an interest in scheduling and some knowledge of working time regulations

* is computer literate, with experience in Office programs such as Word and Excel

Common administrative tasks include:

* Staffing substitutes

* Scheduling

* Compiling payroll data, cash handling, etc.

* Overall responsibility for documentation, medication lists, delegations

* Contacts regarding the maintenance and upkeep of the premises.

Working as a team leader requires great flexibility. You are responsible for managing your administrative time where the need arises.

In addition to your role as a team leader, you will work closely with clients and together with your colleagues to provide support measures and planned activities based on our residents' needs and life situations. Your work will involve, among other things:

• Supporting and motivating residents in their daily lives. This may include assistance with cleaning, laundry, cooking, and personal hygiene.
• Booking and accompanying visits to, for example, healthcare, rehabilitation, and dental care.
• Performing tasks delegated by licensed personnel, such as administering medication.
• Assisting in managing finances and maintaining good contact with any legal guardians.
• Being a support in social contacts with, for example, relatives and friends.
• Encouraging and motivating residents to have an active and meaningful leisure time.

Your work will be based on the individual needs of the residents and aims to:

• Promote independence and participation.
• Ensure that interventions are carried out with respect for the client's integrity and self-determination.

As part of our team, you will contribute to development work by:

• Working according to established goals, methods, and quality requirements. Following up, evaluating, and possibly revising various working methods and approaches together with the unit's support pedagogue, other staff, and the operations manager.
• Holding one or more representative roles such as technology representative, environmental representative, or hygiene representative.
• Collaborating with external actors, such as LSS caseworkers in the municipality, responsible nurses, rehabilitation staff, etc.

We operate 24/7 throughout the year, which means that working hours are scheduled during the day and evening as well as on weekends. On-call duty is included in the position.
