We are now looking for a medical secretary who wants to be an important part of our operations in the Ear area. We are a multifaceted unit where doctors, nurses, audiologists, and medical secretaries work together to provide the best possible care. Here, everything from hearing impairments and earwax plugs to various types of cancer is treated. In addition to outpatient services, we also have emergency and surgical operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standard tasks such as dictation writing, referral management, and monitoring.
• Receive phone calls and messages, as well as handle incoming and outgoing mail.
• Staff the reception when the regular receptionist is not on duty and some days a week according to schedule.
• Diagnosis and procedure classification: Focus on correct coding and classification of diagnoses and procedures.
• Participate in and contribute to improvements and development of work processes and routines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trained medical secretary (doctor's secretary/healthcare administrator)
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and service-minded
• Enjoy working in an environment where you collaborate with many different professions
• Have a positive attitude and contribute to a good work environment
