As one of our colleagues is soon retiring, we are now looking for a senior accountant who wants to take on a broad responsibility within accounting, payroll, and financial closing in a growing group.

About the job as an accountant

As an accountant with us, you are a central part of the business and responsible for the ongoing financial work in the group, which includes handling incoming and outgoing payments, accounts receivable, and invoicing. You will continuously work with the reconciliation of balance accounts according to established monthly and annual closing templates, coding of supplier invoices, and payment of taxes and fees.

In addition to the ongoing financial reporting, you have an overall responsibility for the closing work, annual reports, and group consolidation for Axavia's subsidiary Westan Logistik and its subsidiaries. You will also be responsible for payroll processing for Westan Logistik.

The role also includes the administration of Axavia's share register, including handling of certificates and share sales.

We are looking for someone who has great drive and a sense of service for both internal and external customers, as well as a commitment to the team.

We see that you have

• Several years of relevant work experience in finance
• Post-secondary education with a focus on finance or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in closing work
• Experience in payroll processing
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
