Are you ready for a bigger task?
The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest authority with approximately 40,700 employees across the country. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to the Police's mission to increase safety and reduce crime in society.
Police Region North is the largest region in terms of area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police areas: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland, which together are divided into 12 local police areas. Furthermore, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional office, and national departments represented in the region to support police operations.
The Jämtland police area is divided into two local police areas: LPO Östersund and LPO Jämtland/Härjedalen. At the police area level, there is an investigation section and a police area office. Within each local police area, there are intervention and crime prevention activities, investigation groups, as well as support and service.
The service office is the face of the Police Authority and often the first contact for the public - an important point of contact. The operation is both an authority exercise and a service function with accessibility for both external and internal service. Serving as an administrator in the reception is a significant job in strengthening trust in police operations by having commitment, quality, and security in handling cases combined with efficiency.
We are now looking for 3 people for summer temporary positions in Östersund, during the period from June to August. There may also be opportunities for extension of hours before and after this period.

- Process passport and identity card applications
Other common job responsibilities may include:
- Receive and register reports from the public
- Handle lost property
- Release confiscated items

A prerequisite for starting work as an administrator at the service office is that you are approved and certified in the mandatory internal training that begins in the first two weeks.
The working hours are primarily scheduled during the day.
There may be work at another location within the police area.
