Economist for the Health and Care Administration in Östersund Municipality

We are now looking for a qualified economist for the Health and Care Administration in Östersund Municipality. The finance and administration unit currently consists of five economists, two finance administrators, five fee handlers, and one business developer. You will replace one of our five economists.

We are located in newly renovated offices at Sollidenvägen 64B, where we work according to an activity-based working method with a dedicated area for our unit, which promotes collaboration. The position is permanent and full-time, with a start date according to agreement.

The Health and Care Administration is one of eight administrations in Östersund Municipality. The administration's task is to provide the elderly and disabled with the conditions to live an independent and good life. Job Responsibilities

You will work closely with unit managers, management teams, and your colleagues in the unit. As an economist, you will play an active role in budget and follow-up work, where you will prepare annual budgets and compile, analyze, and report monthly follow-ups, forecasts, and interim financial statements. You also have an important role in developing our financial administrative routines.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics
• At least 5 years of experience as an economist
• Knowledge of financial statements in economic systems
• Experience in training managers in finance
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)
• Good system proficiency

Meritorious

• Experience in public administration
