Your Task

As a Development Leader in Project Management, you will become a central player in our continued journey. You will play a key role in translating our newly developed Project Handbook and Project Model from theory to practice and ensure that they provide real support throughout the organization.

You will be part of the management group for the Project Handbook, where you will drive your own development initiatives, prioritize improvements, and focus on what has the greatest impact on the business. At the same time, you will help further develop our corporate project tool Antura – a crucial hub for project managers, decision-makers, and for monitoring the project portfolio. Here, you will work with analysis, data quality assurance, and improvements that enhance governance, transparency, and decision support.

An important part of the role is to ensure that the overall project management actually works in practice. You will be the link between the corporation's governance and the realities of the operations – through close collaboration with Development Leaders/Key users in various parts of the organization. With an understanding of different needs and challenges, you will create engagement, consensus, and a strong application of the Project Handbook in all project environments.

Your Team

You will be an important part of the Project Support unit within the Project department – a competent and engaged team of 10 employees who together drive development in project management, business development, and administration.

You will work closely with colleagues who have deep specialist expertise in project management, finance, scheduling, work environment, administration, and process development. Together, you will create structure, quality, and progress for Göteborg Energi's project operations.

You will report to unit manager Fredrik Ljungblad, who describes the position as follows:

Your Competence

To succeed in this role, we see that you have good collaboration skills and can work with employees and managers at different levels within the corporation. Since you are experienced in project management, you are expected to take your own initiatives and work independently to drive issues and changes forward. You are accustomed to driving changes and designing adaptations based on different needs. For all areas of responsibility, a quality-conscious approach is required where both support and governance work in practice and lead to improvements.

Furthermore, you have:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience that we assess as relevant for the position.
• Several years of experience working in projects as a project manager, project engineer, or specialist in project management discipline, or several years of experience in project governance within an organization.
• Knowledge, education, and experience in project methodology and project models.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Certification in project management (PMI, IPMA, or equivalent).
• Experience with project tools, Antura or similar.
• Experience in the role of client.
• Experience in the energy or construction industry.
• Experience in roles from staff functions in projects or from project offices in an organization.
• Experience in process work, business development, and/or change management.
