About us

The Pharmacy Department is now seeking two department pharmacists for temporary positions and summer vacancies for assignments within Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Queen Silvia's Children's Hospital.

The Pharmacy Department is a unit belonging to the Medication Operations where pharmacists and pharmacy technicians work in various healthcare activities. In the Medication Operations, there are also Clinical Pharmacology, Medication Service, Inpatient Dosage, and Extemporaneous Manufacturing. The operations have both internal and regional assignments.

Main responsibilities

• Preparation of oral and parenteral medication doses.
• Ordering medications and managing medication rooms.
• Answering questions regarding medications and medication management.
• Quality work for safe medication management.

About you

We are looking for a licensed pharmacy technician or pharmacist with at least two years of professional experience and good knowledge of Swedish. Experience working in healthcare is considered an asset, as well as experience in preparing parenteral and/or oral medications and quality work.

As a person, it is important that you are flexible, have an easy time creating new contacts and good relationships. You should be able to take initiative, be attentive, and prioritize tasks according to the needs of the care unit. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
