About the Job

Are you a nurse looking for an independent and varied job ranging from intensive rehabilitation to end-of-life care? Due to parental leave, we are now seeking a new colleague for Gråberget's short-term unit.

The unit has 41 patient places and is located in the city area of Centrum with good communication possibilities.

The short-term units in Gothenburg City support patients when they need to regain, maintain, or improve their ability to manage daily life, thus enabling a return to their own homes. The unit also cares for patients awaiting placement in care and nursing homes or patients who are at the end of life. Within the operations of a short-term unit, there is a steady flow of patients with admissions and discharges. Of a total of six short-term units in Gothenburg City, three units are located in the city area of Centrum; Fredriksdal, Bagaregården, and Gråberget. 2025 You will work in a cross-professional team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehab assistants, and nurses collaborate.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have further education in areas such as palliative care, psychiatry, or other relevant fields as assessed by the employer. You have relevant work experience, preferably within municipal health and medical care at the primary care level or equivalent. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

As the work as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or in dialogue with your colleagues. You take responsibility for your and the shared tasks with the patient in focus. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adapt your information based on the situation and the patient's needs.
