About the job:

Do you want a meaningful, independent, and varied job where your skills as a nurse truly make a difference? As a nurse in our resource unit, you will be offered an independent and varied job with the opportunity to broaden your skills in several areas of operation.

You will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing staff, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers.

Job responsibilities:

In the role of resource nurse, you will work across the entire Social Welfare Sector and replace regular nurses/district nurses during short- and long-term absences. The work involves service in ordinary housing, special housing and dementia care, short-term activities, evening and night activities, as well as LSS and psychiatry.

In your role as a nurse with us, you will make independent assessments, perform medical treatments, and plan and follow up on nursing interventions. Other important parts of your assignment are to guide and support nursing staff in health and medical care issues and collaborate with other professionals to ensure safe and quality care.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse, and to succeed in the role, you need to:

• be responsible and independent
• be flexible and have a good ability to prioritize and make decisions in everyday life
• have a professional and respectful approach
• have good collaboration skills and enjoy teamwork across professional boundaries
• have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have a B driver's license for manual transmission

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions:

• Permanent employment
• Full-time, with the possibility of a desired employment rate
• Working hours scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekend shifts

Other:

The position may involve medical assessments within the disability area. Before employment, you will need to present an extract from the criminal record for the hiring manager. The form can be obtained from the Police's website (law 2010:479). It usually takes between 1-2 weeks to receive it by mail and must be shown before employment to the hiring manager.
