Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference? Are you comfortable working irregular hours? Are you over 18 and want to work with something fun, developing, and meaningful? Gain valuable experience for the future. Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and stimulating leisure activities. You will receive an introduction, training in general care, supervision, and training in medication and transfer techniques. For documentation and planning, adapted data systems will be used, which you will be trained in.

Residential care for the elderly

In our elderly homes, you will meet people in need of care and support. Tasks performed include daily hygiene, social interaction and activities, cleaning, meal support, laundry, certain health and medical care interventions, and much more. You will also have contact with relatives and participate in social documentation.

Home care

If you work in home care, you will meet people in their homes. Here, you will help users with personal care such as hygiene, meals, social activities, escorting to doctor/community visits, and certain health and medical care interventions based on the users' individual needs. Your work may also include everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Support for functional disabilities

Our users are individuals of various ages, and those you assist have varying disabilities and need different levels of help and support in daily life. The work includes contacts with relatives, guardians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and schools. Practical tasks such as cooking and household chores are usually included as well. The work can sometimes be both challenging and physically demanding, requiring you to be confident in yourself.

Personal assistance

As a personal assistant, you are a human support to the user and should create opportunities for the person to live as independently as possible. Those you assist have varying disabilities and need different levels of help and support in daily life. You will participate in leisure activities, shopping trips, meals, dressing, and personal hygiene. The assignment also includes practical tasks that occur in a home, such as cooking and household chores. The work can sometimes be both challenging and physically demanding, requiring you to be confident in yourself.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with people.

Qualifications

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license (for home care and support for functional disabilities)
• Available to work 2 days a week
• Criminal record extract called 'Kontroll av egna uppgifter'

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have:

• Relevant education for the profession
• Relevant experience in the profession
• Experience with the target group
• Several years of work experience

We place great emphasis on approach and personal suitability. For this application, you will need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply.
