About us
Närhälsan Vårgårda clinic is centrally located by the bus and train station in Vårgårda municipality.
The municipality has around 11,000 inhabitants and is an expanding community with good connections by train and bus to Gothenburg and other larger towns in the area. The community is located in an old cultural region with beautiful walking areas and there is a rich association life in the area. At Närhälsan Vårgårda clinic, we have 40 employees in various professions and we are a team of general practitioners. We work in teams with continuous change work. About the job
Your tasks at the clinic span a wide range and cover the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently with your own practice where you triage, treat, and follow up patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the clinic management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the clinic.
The position also offers the opportunity to be involved in the startup and development of our elderly reception. As a nurse with us, you will be part of a cross-professional team where you, together with other professional categories, contribute to structured, person-centered, and patient-safe care with a particular focus on the elderly patient.
About you
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have further education in Diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as a Diabetes nurse is meritorious, as well as experience from working in primary care and/or having supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
