We are now looking for a dentist who wants to help us while one of our dentists is on parental leave!

6 months with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Kongahälla, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Performing both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care.
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

We are a clinical training facility and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the job.

Qualifications and Profile

• Licensed dentist; we prefer that you have a few years of practical experience.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the Recruitment Process

After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to provide supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
