We are now looking for an engaged dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

The specialist clinic for endodontics in Gothenburg is a referral center for the treatment of diseases in the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.

We are 25 employees looking for another dental nurse to join our team. The clinic's main task is to treat patients referred to us. We also conduct specialist training for dentists. All employees participate in clinical supervision within the program based on their expertise.

The specialist dental care and training clinics in Gothenburg, located at Odontologen, constitute Folktandvården's university dental care. This means that the clinic actively participates in the basic education of dentists and dental hygienists, contributes to dental research, and is part of the development of dental care throughout the region.

We work with continuous improvements as we aim to develop our clinic and provide the best care, health, and service to our patients, referrers, and employees. We care that everyone feels involved in the clinic's goals and development.

The position mainly includes:

• Assisting in examinations, treatments, and surgeries

We also work with clinical education of dentists at the dental education program at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance of students may also be part of the position.

Qualifications and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operations by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.
