We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work at our beautiful clinic at Folktandvården Kongahälla.

At Kongahälla Center, we have built a unique clinic to offer Kungälv's patients modern and professional care and top-class service. Folktandvården Kongahälla has 14 fully equipped treatment rooms. Currently, 11 dentists, 9 dental hygienists, and 18 dental nurses work here. We are engaged in several different research projects. We work with all types of treatments and have nitrous oxide equipment and OPG, DK equipment, and we work with digital impression taking. We are a cutting-edge clinic with high competence.

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in sterilization and reception

We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the job.

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 3 and 4.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
