We are looking for a dentist

We are looking for a dentist who wants to become our dental expert and assist the clinic management while being involved in the development of our clinic.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Svenljunga, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting the clinic management as a dental expert.
• Advising the clinic manager on dental matters.
• Ensuring and following up that care at the clinic is conducted in accordance with good care practices together with the clinic manager.
• Being proactive and independent in the role of dental expert.
• Assisting the clinic manager in implementing new methods and routines in care.
• Working both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care.

The clinic in Svenljunga is modern with 8 treatment rooms. In Svenljunga, you will have 15 friendly colleagues who perform most general dental care. To work preventively with children's and young people's health, we engage in various projects and are also an active part of the Family Center.

Our clinic is characterized by joy and humor, where teamwork and development of the operations are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

We are flexible regarding work schedule arrangements for this position. The basic orientation is to work 100%, but it can also be a part-time position, or if you are already working at Folktandvården, we are open to the possibility of continuing to work at your current clinic part-time while also working at Folktandvården Svenljunga during other hours.

The clinic is covered by Folktandvården's system for market salary supplements, which means a clinic-bound salary supplement. There is also a salary supplement related to the position.

Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist with a few years of experience.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.
• Contribute to the development of the operations by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

If you have education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
