Mobile Section Leader in Psychiatry

About the operation
The Neuropsychiatry area is one of five adult psychiatric areas responsible for patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities, eating disorders, deaf psychiatry, memory disorders, Huntington's disease, geriatric psychiatric inpatient care, and geriatric psychiatric mobile teams.
The operation is research-intensive and actively participates in several healthcare education programs. We have close cooperation with other actors involved in the care and support of patients. In other words, it is a knowledge-intensive organization where we perform varied and important work, and where there are good opportunities for personal development.
The mobile geriatric psychiatry team was started in 2022 with the mission to reduce emergency visits, ensure safe home discharges, and prevent readmissions for the elderly with complex needs. You will be part of a team that develops new ways of working, where you will have the opportunity to broaden your competence in psychiatry, geriatrics, and somatics.
Working hours
Daytime, weekdays without weekends.
Procedures and working methods are under revision. In your role as section leader, you are expected to drive development issues. We hope you want to contribute your engagement and experience to develop our patient care!
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible, together with the unit manager and section leader colleague, for workplace meetings, meetings, and planning and development days. The assignment also includes updating procedures and job descriptions. You create security for employees and have supervisory responsibility when the unit manager is not present. Together, you will plan the development of the operation in the short and long term.
As a section leader, you promote a good work climate and drive improvement and patient safety work.
In the role of nurse in the mobile geriatric psychiatry team, you will conduct subacute or planned home visits, such as suicide risk assessments and medication follow-ups. The tasks vary depending on the patient's needs.
You contribute to a workplace characterized by participation, care, and a holistic perspective.
Qualifications
To thrive in the role of section leader, you need to be communicative and feel comfortable leading the team. You are solution-focused and view variations in the workday positively. You are a positive person who enjoys being the spider in the web. You have the ability to organize and prioritize effectively. You are self-driven and can drive development issues. You have a structured way of working, are responsible, and want to work with other employees in the unit to create the best care for the patient.
About you
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry, geriatrics, or dementia. We value personal qualities such as the ability to work independently, being a clear leader, and having good collaboration, initiative, and organizational skills.
A driving license (B) is a requirement.
