We are now looking for two dental hygienists who want to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Södra Torget, Borås, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health interventions
• Working with disease treatment both physically and digitally
• Providing outreach dental care in nursing homes

We are a clinical training center and accept students from the dental hygiene program at the University of Gothenburg. Mentoring students may also be part of the position.

Folktandvården Södra Torget is located at the bus square in the heart of Borås. We have 14 treatment rooms. Currently, we have a total of 35 employees, including 11 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, 14 dental nurses, 1 health promoter, and 4 reception staff. We strive to be a clinic where everyone works at the forefront of their competence and where delegation is a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to convey a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. Mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for January 20 and 22.
