Together with care supervisors and other representatives in the organization, you will be involved in driving quality and development efforts, such as quality registers, follow-up work on deviations, and Lex Sarah.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend. Common working hours are 07:00-15:30, 07:00-16:30, 13:00-22:00, and 15:00-22:00.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained specialist nursing assistant with a vocational education of at least 200 credits. It is desirable if you have experience working with quality registers such as Senior Alert and BPSD, as well as experience in social documentation and the establishment of action plans. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of methods and approaches related to low-arousal responses. If you have experience in mentoring, both at the individual and group level, it is also an advantage for the position.

For the role of specialist nursing assistant, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of good interactions with residents, relatives, and colleagues. It is important that you are a person who can organize and plan your days effectively. Since you will be supporting colleagues, you also need to be pedagogically inclined and have the ability to communicate so that everyone understands. You are eager to contribute to the development of the organization, enjoy when things happen around you, and approach new challenges with curiosity and flexibility.

Your new workplace

The Care and Support Administration consists of four departments: Assistance and Health, Functional Support, Elderly Care, and Support and Development. The Care and Support Committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and services to elderly individuals and those in need of functional support. We also perform certain health and medical care. The vision is that our interventions should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.

We have about 850 employees who work throughout the municipality, and we are a mix of support assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, support educators, case managers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care supervisors, and more.

Furulund is a special accommodation with 94 apartments for individuals who, for various reasons, cannot remain in their ordinary housing. We have two departments for individuals with some form of dementia and one somatic department. Our goal is for residents to be able to influence their daily lives so that their existence is the best possible, and that the staff's approach is filled with respect, empathy, and responsiveness.
