NU Healthcare is part of the Västra Götaland Region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Northern Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 residents. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. About the Dietitian Clinic at NU Healthcare, NÄL and Uddevalla Hospital

The Dietitian Clinic consists of 8 dietitians distributed between NÄL and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospitals are centrally located in both Uddevalla and Trollhättan, making it easy to commute from nearby towns such as Vänersborg and Gothenburg.

The main task of the Dietitian Clinic is to be responsible for nutritional assessments, evaluations, treatments, and follow-ups regarding diet and nutrition at all NU Healthcare clinics, except for the Children's and Adolescent Clinic, which has its own dedicated dietitians. The dietitians meet with patients both inpatient and outpatient and are also part of a network with other healthcare professionals and conduct training sessions.

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will work with diagnoses such as oncology, surgery, gastrointestinal diseases, neurology, kidney diseases, lung diseases, and some psychiatry. There is an opportunity to specialize in certain areas as we are divided into teams.

Here, you will encounter a varied workday, daily check-ins, supportive colleagues, and an active effort for a good work environment. We continuously work to reduce administration and double documentation through the support of digitalization, to provide more time for patient work.

We are currently looking for a dietitian for a temporary position primarily until the end of August, with a possible extension after the summer. You will primarily be stationed at NÄL, but travel to Uddevalla Hospital may occur in the position. You will work with consultations to the hospital departments as well as with referrals from NU Healthcare's clinics. You will be introduced to the work by your colleagues.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a licensed dietitian. Previous experience with documentation in Melior and scheduling in Elvis is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have some knowledge of enteral and parenteral nutrition. We prefer that you are proactive, enjoy new challenges, and want to broaden your skills. Furthermore, you are flexible in your role as a dietitian regarding both work methods and tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
