JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible, together with other staff, for ensuring that users receive the care and support they need. As an employee with us, you should be able to motivate and stimulate those we support based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. The work involves providing good care, service, and support by recognizing the strengths of our users. We work with a value-driven approach and want our users to have a meaningful life.

• In home care, you work directly in the user's home, and the tasks include care, household-related work, and health and medical care assignments delegated by a nurse.
• Bollegården's elderly home, Skattegårdsvägen 8, is a somatic residence. In this facility, you will perform care and support work with a focus on somatic care and, to some extent, care for individuals with dementia and mental health issues.
• Bollegården's Dementia Home, Ballebovägen 6, is a dementia residence where care and support work is performed with a focus on dementia care.
• The short-term unit is a temporary residence where care and support work is performed for users who are alternately cared for at home or need rehabilitation after a hospital stay. The work involves collaborating with users, their relatives, and staff to shape a service where the user's individual needs and interests are in focus.
• Home healthcare is looking for nursing students who have completed semester 5 of their education. If you are a nursing assistant, you should be confident in your role, accustomed to working independently, and handling delegated health and medical care tasks. You have good collaboration skills, are attentive, flexible, meticulous, and responsible. You have a good attitude and put the patient first. A driver's license is required. We want you to be able to work at least 4 weeks this summer.
• Support for People with Disabilities - Day Activities, Group Homes, Service Housing, Personal Assistance is aimed at individuals with various disabilities and of different ages. The support we provide is individually tailored to each person's needs. The tasks vary depending on which service you are offered employment within. The personal assistance service is a personally tailored support for those who, due to significant and permanent disabilities, cannot meet their basic needs on their own and whose needs cannot be met in any other way. Your work involves being an individual support and help in everyday situations in the user's home.

QUALIFICATIONS

For those who want to work in elderly care, we primarily seek individuals with a care education or experience working with the elderly.

To work in home care, you need to have a B driver's license.

Even if you do not have an education or experience, you are welcome to apply.

It is important that you have a good attitude and collaboration skills and are clear in your communication. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are proactive, responsible, and flexible, and you have the ability to make decisions even in difficult situations. Of course, you enjoy working with people and have a good attitude.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

As a summer intern in elderly care or the area of support for disabilities, you should have a positive view of people, patience, and a genuine commitment to the task. You have good collaboration skills and are helpful.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the advertising period. Group interviews will be applied.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid residence/work permit or prove that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
