About the Job

As a nursing assistant, you play a vital role in society and are the one who makes everyday life work for our tenants. As a nursing assistant at Silvergruvan's care and nursing home, you create a safe and meaningful daily life for our tenants. You work in a person-centered manner, supporting everything from personal care and meals to social activities and collaboration with relatives. You also perform tasks delegated by licensed personnel and document in our IT systems. Your schedule will include day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend.

The role involves teamwork and active work to motivate and strengthen the tenant's own resources. Silvergruvan's care and nursing home is a modern, newly built facility from 2022 with three floors, several balconies, and spacious activity areas. There are 60 apartments distributed across geropsychiatry, somatic care, and dementia care. We are also Gothenburg City's first academic care and nursing home.

About You

Requirements:

We are looking for you who are an educated nursing assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for a protected professional title, or can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new rules were introduced. Experience of previous work in care and welfare is a requirement for the position. The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

Merits

Further education in care and welfare, as well as supervisor training or a willingness to undertake such training. As an academic care and nursing home, we value the ability to supervise and support students and new colleagues.

You are attentive and aware of the needs, feelings, and opinions of tenants and colleagues. You are collaborative and work towards achieving common goals together with your colleagues.
