About the Job

As a nursing assistant, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge for your future profession. You will work in direct nursing care while practicing specific nursing tasks with the support of a colleague.

As a nursing assistant, you will meet patients with various medical needs, meaning you will work closely with the patient. This requires the ability to understand the situation patients find themselves in, an interest in the person you meet and their needs.

Below are examples of tasks, but variation will exist based on the needs of the department and your competence:

• Admission interviews
• Nursing care
• Participation in care planning
• Daily central venous catheter (CVC) checks
• Phlebotomy (blood sampling)
• Conversations and supervision/care of patients
• Preparation and administration of medication under supervision

Qualifications

You are studying to become a nurse and will have completed your 5th semester by June 2026 at the latest. You have at least three months of experience working as a nurse assistant/caregiver/childcare worker. Previous experience working in the Melior patient record system is an asset. We place great importance on personal suitability.

As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You are flexible and able to work in an environment with highly varied tasks at a fast pace.

Conditions

This position involves working days, evenings, and weekends throughout the entire summer.
