At Bräcke diakoni, we are now looking for summer substitutes for Helhetsvården Hospice in Bräcke park, where we provide care and support at the end of life and create security for both guests and relatives. Your job this summer

As a summer substitute and nursing assistant at Helhetsvården, you contribute to making each day as meaningful and safe as possible for our guests at the end of life. You will work as needed, from occasional shifts during the spring to longer, scheduled periods during the summer, and become an important part of a close team with a nurse. Your job may involve:

• providing palliative care with warmth and that little extra
• performing delegated tasks from the nurse
• being a support for guests and relatives
• contributing to calm, security, and presence in everyday life.

Who we are looking for

With us, palliative care is based on each person's self-determination and what matters most in the moment. Therefore, we are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and want to work closely with people at the end of life. You are attentive, secure, and proactive, and thrive in a role where you work independently within a smaller team.

Your qualifications

• Trained nursing assistant with a protected title
• Experience in care and support
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have basic computer skills
• Experience in palliative care is an advantage.

Bräcke Hospice Helhetsvården

Helhetsvården Hospice is located close to nature in Bräcke park and has space for ten guests. Here, there is room for both professional care and human presence – and a place where guests and relatives can be together. The operation is nurse-led with support from doctors from the palliative team at Sahlgrenska. The team also includes nursing assistants, a social worker, and a deacon who together create security in what matters most.
