We are now looking for a self-driven and positive dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a friendly approach!

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Öckerö, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages. Therefore, you will utilize your entire skill set while the position requires both creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. You will assist in examinations, sterilization and reception duties, as well as prophylaxis and your own patients. At the clinic, you will work alongside 18 wonderful and dedicated colleagues. We have many years of experience and broad expertise.

We work in a positive spirit with continuous operational development and find challenges and innovative thinking exciting. Everyone is involved in the work to move the clinic forward.

Folktandvården Öckerö is located about 45 minutes from central Gothenburg, on Öckerö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago. You can easily reach us by bus or car. Free staff parking is available next to the clinic.

Your role includes:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients during prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in sterilization and reception

Qualifications and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 3 and 4.
