Summer Temp Positions Available in HVB and Social Psychiatry Support

We are now looking for several positive and trustworthy summer temp workers for our HVB and social psychiatric support operations. Our summer job periods are between weeks 26-33, and there may be an opportunity to start on a part-time basis already in the spring.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ungbo

Ungbo HVB is a housing solution in central Mariestad for boys and girls aged 13 - 20 years. We cater to youth whose home environment, social issues, or conflicts prevent a functioning everyday life at home. Our unit has four places plus a support apartment. We strive to contribute to changed, improved, and lasting living conditions for the young person, and we want to create conditions for the youth and family to find new tools for interaction.

Together with the client, the youth, and guardians, we design an individual treatment plan at the HVB home. The treatment focuses on providing our youth with a secure base where your tasks involve creating a clear daily structure and secure relationships with stable adults.

Mobile Support, Social Psychiatry

In the support role, you facilitate everyday life at home for individuals with mental health issues. Your tasks will involve working investigatively, supportively, and motivationally to strengthen the individual's own resources for an independent life and active participation in society. Together with the individual, you plan and structure daily life, leisure, and activities. Your mission will be to train the individual to perform their daily tasks more independently. You will also serve as social support in contacts with various authorities and relatives.

For both operations, irregular working hours occur. We work both during the day, evenings, weekends, nights, and on-call shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be suitable as a summer temp, we are looking for someone with relevant education such as social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, or another behavioral science education. We prefer candidates with previous experience working with children and youth or other individuals who require special support. Experience working in a low-arousal manner within social work is an advantage.

As a person, we see that you can work independently while also being able to collaborate easily with other colleagues, care staff, and nurses. You should be confident in yourself and have a calm and stable demeanor. It is important that you are attentive and can meet individuals where they are and understand the difficulties they may face. You should be able to make independent decisions and solve various situations based on each individual's circumstances and needs.

You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as documentation is part of the job.

We will prioritize temps who can be flexible and work in both Ungbo and support roles and who enjoy working with both older and younger target groups. We will also prioritize those who can work irregular hours since we serve both during the day, evenings, weekends, nights, and on-call shifts.

A driving license (B) is required.
