Do you want to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to the public good? With us, you will have interesting tasks at the heart of society, combined with development opportunities and a balance between work and leisure.

Be part of making society possible!

About the Job

As a Log Analyst, you will ensure that the organization can follow up and analyze activities performed by case handlers and technicians in our applications. You will work with the log information that is stored, from selecting and collecting data to structuring and presenting it. Much of this is automated, and the development is moving towards an even higher degree of automation using the Splunk platform.

As a Log Analyst, you will work with various log formats, such as JSON, Tuxedo, WLS, and custom log formats created by our business systems. You will also be responsible for retrieving audit logs from our backup system. In your daily work, you will interact with many different units within the Swedish Tax Agency. You will be part of a team with a long-term mission where we focus on sustainable, future-proof solutions and minimized technical debt. With us, value creation and public benefit are always in focus.

We are in an exciting growth phase together with a forward-leaning organization, which means both new technology and growing commitments for an increasingly data-intensive operation. The Technical Service Unit (STT) of the Swedish Tax Agency, as a central IT organization, has been tasked with delivering the future government cloud as one of three delivering IT authorities to a large number of other authorities. Our mission is to provide developed capabilities in analysis, platforms, and data pipelines in a new but efficient and secure way.

With us, you will have the opportunity for continuous development and learning in your work. We actively work with skills and technology development through, for example, innovation sprints and internal solution-oriented workshops. You will have knowledgeable colleagues with whom you can exchange experiences, and you can develop both breadth and depth with us. Thanks to being a large IT organization, we can offer good opportunities for internal mobility. It is important for us that you have a balance between work and leisure, and we offer, among other things, flexible working hours and the possibility to work partially from home. You will receive a wellness hour each week and wellness benefits.

The IT department of the Swedish Tax Agency actively works to promote an inclusive workplace characterized by equality and diversity, where all employees have equal opportunities to contribute and develop.
