IT Security Specialist with IT System Security Clearance

About the Position

FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) is on an exciting and challenging transformation journey where you as an IT Security Specialist will be an important part of FMV's information and IT security work.

As an IT Security Specialist, you will work on preparing documentation and conducting reviews for security clearance and accreditation of information systems. You will lead, implement, and follow up on the work with security clearance of IT systems and applications.

You will also work with security protection planning within projects and management, i.e., the work with analyses, plans, and measures taken to investigate what security protection is needed.

You will work with advisory roles, supporting projects, management, and decision-makers in interpreting security-related incidents, assisting in risk assessments, and directing the overall security work.

The position is based in Stockholm. Travel within Sweden may occur.

About You

You have a university degree in IT, as an engineer or system scientist, or another relevant education in the field, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. Education with a focus on IT security or information security, or equivalent competence acquired in another way, is advantageous.

Experience in the IT security field is advantageous, as well as experience with security clearance of IT systems and managing documentation regarding IT systems. Experience in the development and management of IT systems is something we believe you will benefit from in this role.

Experience working with classified information related to IT systems as well as experience in requirements management and processing is also advantageous.

As a person, you are pedagogical with a good ability for oral and written communication. You are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and plan, prioritize, and structure your work effectively. You are proactive, drive your work forward, and are motivated by achieving good results. Furthermore, you collaborate well with others, act calmly and confidently with high personal maturity, and enjoy working in teams.

You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About Us

The Infrastructure Staff is responsible for the development, management, and operation of information systems. We work to steer the authority within the IT area by planning, implementing, and following up on IT operations within FMV. The IT Development and Management department is responsible for the development and management of applications, both for FMV's own needs and for the Armed Forces.

FMV is an authority under the Ministry of Defence with the Armed Forces as the supervisory authority. We use the Armed Forces' security regulations KSF as the basis for FMV's accreditation method for the security clearance of our information systems.
