We are looking for two experienced Data Engineers for a newly established team tasked with maximizing the value of existing data. You will work on an Azure Databricks platform and build robust pipelines and user-friendly data products. The role involves close collaboration with the business to understand business needs and deliver solutions that create measurable benefits. An important part is also to establish working methods and solutions that can be maintained by other teams over time, in line with data mesh principles.

• Build and further develop data pipelines that transform raw data into structured and user-friendly data products.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with the business, analysts, and data scientists to develop solutions for reporting, analysis, and AI initiatives.
• Contribute to establishing best practices and working methods for data products that can be handed over and maintained by other teams.
• Explain and communicate complex data solutions clearly and pedagogically.
• Work needs-driven and prioritize development based on actual business value.

• Solid experience in building data pipelines and data products in Azure Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of data modeling, granularity, and history, and how these affect analysis, reporting, and business value.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams in close collaboration with the business.

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and data governance.
• Experience handing over solutions to other teams for long-term management.
• Interest in coaching and supporting others in data-related issues.
• Experience in analysis related to customer behaviors, profitability, risk, or operational efficiency.
