We are now looking for a Software Engineer for a giant in the automotive industry, where you will play a central role in developing and maintaining the toolchain that enables advanced embedded software for the vehicles of the future.

Here, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable solutions for the development, testing, and delivery of automotive software. You will work cross-functionally, focusing on CI/CD, code quality, and automated build processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve build systems for embedded automotive software
Integrate third-party tools such as GCC, Hexagon QAC (MISRA), and various testing frameworks (e.g., cUnit or internal tools)
Support code generation flows from C code generators such as MathWorks Embedded Coder and internal tools
Write and maintain build scripts in Python and CMake
Ensure code quality and compliance with standards, such as MISRA
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to toolchain and build processes

Requirements

Solid experience in Python scripting
Deep understanding of CMake
Good knowledge of C compilers
Experience with GitLab CI/CD and its configuration
Extensive experience in troubleshooting complex toolchains

Desirable

Experience with Git LFS
Experience integrating Simulink-generated code
Familiarity with automotive software standards such as MISRA
Experience with static analysis tools like PC-Lint, Hexagon QAC, or similar
Background in automotive embedded software development
Experience with large-scale CI/CD implementations
