Do you want to work with critical infrastructure and contribute to strengthening Sweden's digital security and preparedness? We are now looking for a Systems Specialist who wants to help develop and manage a secure identity infrastructure for one of the country's most critical actors.
About the role
As a Systems Specialist, you will be part of a knowledgeable team working with secure communication and robust IT solutions. Your focus will be to develop, manage, and secure environments for identity management (IAM), authentication, access control, and certificate management (PKI) – areas that are central to the operation and information security of the organization.
You will:
- Work with Active Directory – develop, design, and maintain a secure and efficient structure.
- Drive and further develop IAM processes – ensuring that the right person has the right access at the right time.
- Be responsible for PKI solutions – secure certificate management and support integration into other systems.
- Develop authentication solutions such as SSO and MFA.
- Act as expert support in projects, changes, and improvement initiatives related to IT security and infrastructure.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure who is passionate about security, structure, and quality. You thrive in an environment where your work makes a real difference – for society and for Sweden's resilience.
We expect you to have:
- Post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent experience
- Documented experience in AD, IAM, authentication, and PKI
- Experience in project-based work and the ability to drive technical initiatives forward
- Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
Furthermore, you have a structured and analytical approach to work and thrive in an environment where precision and problem-solving are crucial. When challenges arise, you act systematically and with a holistic perspective – you not only solve the problem but ensure it does not recur. You have a natural interest in development and quality, identify areas for improvement, and drive change in a methodical and collaborative manner.
Why you should apply
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with technology that protects Sweden's important societal functions. You will play a key role in influencing and developing the organization's security-critical IT environments and contribute to a culture with engaged colleagues, short decision-making paths, and a focus on continuous improvement. You will be offered good employment conditions with great development opportunities and benefits, including wellness grants and reduced working hours.
As the role is security-classified, Swedish or Nordic citizenship is required. Prior to employment, a passed drug and alcohol test, as well as an approved background check and security clearance with a register check, are also required.
